Jerry M. Williams, age 68, of Gulfport, passed away on May 21, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Williams and Elsie Albert; a brother, William Williams; two sisters, Elaine Haynes and Mary Ellen Dickson; and a son, Jerry M. Williams, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sammie L. Williams, of Gulfport; his children, Byron Williams and Samuel """"Sam"""" Williams and his wife, Vanessa, all of Gulfport, and Virginia """"Lorraine"""" Quandt and her husband, Daniel, of Biloxi; four grandchildren, Heather L. Morgan, Samantha Williams, Tyler Quandt, and Parker Quandt; his sisters, Doris Pagagnelli of Delray Beach, Fl and Dorothy Williams of Biloxi; and his brothers, Charles Edward Williams of Wiggins, Richard Williams of Bandera, TX, and Robert Williams of Saucier.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gulfport. Mr. Williams was a shriner and a mason. He was owner and operator of multiple manufactured home communities and was a building contractor for many years. He loved his family and church family. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
The visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 PM at the family residence. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Dobson-Holleman Cemetery, Gulfport.
