Jerry Taylor

Jerry Lee Taylor, Sr., age 61, of Helena, passed away on July 8, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Lee Taylor, II; his parents, Harold "Sonny" Taylor, Thomas Earl Beasley, Jr., and Ollie Virginia Vice; and 2 brothers, Terry Taylor and Tommy Beasley.
Survivors include his wife, Joy Taylor; his children, Ashleigh (Matt) Stokley, Katey Taylor, and Ty Miller; a brother, Brett (Gina) Taylor; his grandchildren, Ethan Stokley, Presleigh Stokley, Weston Taylor, Jackson Taylor, and Kynleigh Sherman; a nephew , Carter Taylor; his aunt, Clara (Richard) Thomas; and other relatives and friends.
He was a lifelong resident of the Helena community and was currently employed as a Superintendent with G.A. West Industrial Contractors.  Jerry was a loving father to his children and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, from 6 - 8 pm at the Helena Presbyterian Church, 10301 Saracennia Road, Moss Point.  The funeral service will be at 10 am Thursday, July 11, 2019, in the church.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Helena.
