Mr. Jerry Mills, 83, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at his residence in the Kiln.
Mr. Mills was served in the U.S. Navy, then later retired as a SSgt from the U.S. Air Force. He was of the Baptist faith and he also served as the Commander of the VFW Post 6285.
He is survived by a host of friends, including his special friends and caregivers, Karen Lewis and Marie Kieff (Roy). He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Sudie Mills.
Special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice, especially the nurses Melissa and Mary, and to Chaplain Jim Prator. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Hospice.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9am to 12pm at the VFW in the Kiln. The service will follow at 12pm.
The graveside service will be held at 2pm at Coal Town Cemetery in Purvis.
