Jerry Fore

Jerry Mack Fore, age 84, a lifelong resident of Harrison County, died peacefully at his home in Gulfport with his wife of 41 years by his side, Doris "Shorty", on March 5, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, F.R. "Gus" Fore and Lois Genevieve Albertson Fore; a brother, Joseph Russell Fore; a sister, O'lene Stone; and a daughter, Jeri Lynn Fore.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Marie Patton Fore; a son, Jerry Mack Fore II; 3 daughters, Laurie Fore, Cammie Wilkerson (Kenny Ray), and Jolene Warden (Johnny); and he also leaves behind multiple stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

After some high school, he joined the Navy and got to travel to far places. After his time in the Navy, he did many different jobs throughout his life, truck driver, worked offshore, ran equipment, owned a gravel pit, and salvage yard. He loved old cars, trucks, watching old westerns and spending time reading. He loved all animals, big and small and saved many four-legged and furry lives. He was a loving son, faithful husband, a great father, and loyal friend. 

The family would like to thank the staff on the 3rd floor at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport and Kare-In Hospice for all their kindness and care.
