Jenny Lindh Carella broke the surly bounds of her life on earth at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2011. She lived a good life of both joy and sadness as she bootstrapped her way from high school dropout to Paralegal with the U.S. Customs Service.
With flaming red hair and a personality to match, Jenny (Pearl) was known to her nieces and nephews as the Fire Aunt. I, her brother, David Lindh, sole surviving sibling, confess to pinning that moniker on her.
She finally met an enemy she could not defeat, a mountain she could not climb, in the form of Alzheimer's, a dreadful disease that seems to pick victims at random. Thanks to all who prayed for and supported her, and me.
