Janelle King Gordon, age 86, of Woolmarket, passed away on April 9, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.L. King and Lillie Lee King; and her, husband, Robert "Cookie" Gordon.
She is survived by her son, Robert "Lucky" Gordon and his wife Terrie; 2 brothers, Marshall King and Dennis H. King; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Gordon was a lifelong resident of Woolmarket and graduated from Woolmarket High School in 1948 and from Perkinston Junior College in 1950. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and homemade crafts. She was very proud of her extensive knowledge of the history of Woolmarket.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 10 - 11 am at the Coalville United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be at 11 am in the church. Burial will be in Coalville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Coalville United Methodist Church.
