BUC Jeffrey C. Krentz, US Navy, Retired, age 62, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Krentz and Arlene Horsch.
Jeffrey is survived by his son, Jeffrey Krentz II and his fiancé, Stephanie Hessian of Gulfport; his siblings, Chuck Krentz and Terry Horsch of Wisconsin; and, April Mullins of New Orleans, LA.
Jeffrey served in the US Navy Seabees and retired after 20 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #106 and an advocate for wilderness conservation. Jeffrey was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed cabinetry and working on new projects. He had a big heart and was a friend to all.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Navy Memorial Fund at www.navymemorial.org.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at RIEMANNFAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service.
