Jeffery E. Latimer age 48 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Monday, April 21, 2008 in Gulfport, MS.
Mr. Latimer was born May 5, 1959 in Gulfport and was a life long resident of the coast. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach and had been employed with the Grand Casino as a Casino Host until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ida Latimer; two borthers Donald and Joseph Latimer. He is survived by his sisers, Carolyn Lassabe and her husband Kenneth of Long Beach, Marilyn Louise Curtis of Gautier, Janice Marie Schultz and her husband Robert, of Long Beach; a sister Rose Marie Poole, of Long Beach; a brother, Albert John Latimer, of Pascagoula; he is also survived by his friend Chad Bishop of New Orleans.
Jeffery loved people and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and made life brighter for everyone where ever he went.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Long Beach at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2008 with visitation after 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, in Gulfport.
