Jeffery ""Speck"" Holland, 52, of Long Beach passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Long Beach.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Sample.
He is survived by his father, Jimmy Sample (Linda); his children, Christina Holland, Adam ""Speck, Jr."" Holland, Kimberly Holland Ables (Justin), and Candra Farvin; his former wife, Laura Powell; his siblings, Ada Ladner (Eddie), George Holland (Cindie), Marty Holland (Magdelena), Mike Holland, Regina Yarborough (David), and Albert Sample (Brenda); his grand children, Grayson Longyear and Maysa Crooks; and his companion, Deana Hooks.
Speck was a life long resident of Long Beach. He worked as General Manager for Charlie Henderson Ford, DeRussy Motors, and Ryan Motors for over 30 years.
Everyone that knew and loved him will remember him for his remarkable personality and generousity. He lived and loved life to the fullest, and remained strong throughout his battle with cancer.
He will be missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 23, 2010; with visitation from 10:00 to 2:00 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery, Long Beach.
