Jeannine Necaise Rider

Jeannine Necaise Rider, age 67, of Perkinston, MS, peacefully passed away on September 10, 2023 in New Orleans, LA.

Jeannine was born and raised in Pass Christian, MS. She was a graduate of Pass Christian High School and attended Pearl River Community College. Even though she resided in Atlanta, Georgia for many years, Pass Christian was always her home in her heart.  She was customer service senior manager for 30 years at Simmons Corporation where she retired and moved back to the coast. She was an avid Alabama fan alongside with her husband, Bobby. She hosted many football game tailgate parties in her motorhome with her family and friends, especially those who never attended a college football game. Jeannine loved music, dancing and any kind of games. Jeannine and her sisters were extremely close and spent every chance they could together, always on the phone daily with each other or a surprise visit. Jeannine will be so deeply missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Mary Maude Harrison Goughenour,(Floyd); father, Everett Necaise,(Earline); brother, Johnny Necaise (Mary).

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Bobby E. Rider; children, Davy Ferrell (Cheryl), Chris Ferrell; siblings, Twin sister and best friend Maureen Stewart (Monroe); brother, Billy Necaise; baby sister and best friend Lisa McTaggart (Wayne); step-children, Shannon Bennett and Darrell Rider, Brooks Rider (Mandy); a sister-in-law, Pat Shaddix; grandchildren, Payton Ferrell, Wren Rider, Micah Rider, Conner Bennett, Kelsey Bennett Loving nephew’s, Karl Hager,  Wally Necaise, Eddie Shaddix, Keith Shaddix; niece Patricia Whitley, Kim Necaise, Skyla and Loreal McTaggart; great-niece, Katherine James Hager.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503
