Jeanie Williams

Jeanie L. Wedgeworth Williams, age 40, of Gulfport, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wiley W. Wedgeworth, Sr. and Robbie "JoAnn" Gibson Wedgeworth; maternal grandmother, Roberta Stewart; Aunt Mary and Uncle David.

Jeanie is survived by her 6 children, Allison King, Emily King, Bella Williams, Tyler Williams, Penelope Williams, and Noah Williams, which she adored so much; her father, Robert “DeWayne” Wedgeworth, Sr and wife Diane of Florida; her mother Jackie Hampton and husband Rob of Pass Christian; brothers, Robert “JR” Wedgeworth Gulfport and Wiley David Wedgeworth (Rachel); nephew, Wiley W. Wedgeworth of Tennessee; and a large family of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Jeanie loved her 6 children. She worked hard to provide for her children. She would take an over the road trucking job just to find herself missing her children and start looking for another local job to be home with her babies. She loved taking her beautiful children and going to visit with her daddy and stepmother in Florida. The children gave them the names Florida Papa and Granny. This just thrilled Jeanie’s heart. She loved the view of the lake. Growing up with a large family, her and her cousins would play in her grandparent’s yard digging holes and burying each other. Christmas was one of her favorite times when all the family was together, and Santa Clause would be there. Jeanie loved everyone. She would do anything to help someone. She was a very beautiful, smart, funny, kind, loving, and very caring woman.
