Jeanette Taquino Fayard, 83, of Gulfport, died Monday, August 17, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Hayes Taquino and Edith Jewel Hutchins Taquino; and by her husband, Edward E. Fayard.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Fayard Piper Rich, son-in-law, William Lester Rich, of Gulfport; grandsons, Michael Edward Piper, of Atlanta, GA, Zachary Patrick Piper, of Pensacola, FL; nephew, Eddie Taquino, of Gulfport; niece, Mary Lew Berkey, of Edgewood, NM; and many other nieces, nephews and close friends.
Jeanette was vivacious, a lover of life and never knew a stranger. She adored her grandsons and they will always remember the fun times they had with """"Maw Maw""""
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Woodland Village Nursing Center, especially Janet on the 500 hall.
The family prefers donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of the South, 4803 Harrison Circle, Gulfport, MS 39507.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach where family and friends may visit from 1:00PM until service time.
