Jean Peterman

Jean C. Peterman, age 90 of Gulfport, MS, passed away January 2, 2021.

Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband, Douglas L. Peterman;
her parents, Walter and Velma Cranford; and a granddaughter, Jena Peterman.

Survivors include her children, Steve Peterman (Jan) of Gulfport, MS, Jenny Peterman
of Austin, TX, Sammy Peterman (Joan)of Perkinston, MS; her grandchildren, Jana Peterman and Matthew Peterman; her great-grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Maelie, and Hannah.

After high school, Jean married Douglas, accompanying him to Augusta, GA during his time in the U.S. Army. She attended nursing school and then settled in as a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast.

She was an avid gardener, bird watcher, seamstress, and fan of the Atlanta Braves. Her down time was usually spent with a good novel or a group of friends playing cards. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM, Friday, January 8, 2021, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Gulfport.
