Jean Allen Burris, 75, of Biloxi, went to be with the Lord on Wed. Feb. 4, 2009 in Biloxi.
Mr. Burris was born in Indianapolis, IN and lived in Brevard County, FL for 30 years. He graduated from University of Oklahoma in Norman. He worked for many years as an electrical engineer for RCA at Patrick Air Force Base in Cocoa Beach, FL.
Mr. Burris is preceded in death by his parents, Vaughn and Ethel B. Burris, his brother, Roy Burris, his wife Marjean Croft Burris, and his son Kevin Hubbard.
He is survived by his children, Cynthia Burris Sagers (Sam) of Biloxi; Evelyn Sue Bryant of Indianapolis, IN; Charles Hubbard (Marie) of Merritt Island, FL; and David Hubbard of Merritt Island, FL; his brother, David Burris of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Sabrina Jean Sagers, Justin Bryant, Jacob Bryant, and Kyle Hubbard; and great grandchild, Sophia Bryant. He is also survived by his good friend and former wife of 23 years Sandra Crisp of Merritt Island, FL; and good friend Paul Maluccio of Cape Canaveral, FL.
A visitation will be held Monday Feb. 9, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. A procession will leave the funeral home chapel at 10:45 AM for a graveside service at 11:00 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
