Jason Andrew Deogracias, age 29 and a resident of Kiln, died in Muskegen, Michigan on November 10, 2006.
Jason was born in Jeferson Parrish, La., on November 1, 1977 and attended schools in Galiano and Cut Off, La.. He worked as a chef in south La. and Ms. At the time of his death Jason was with the Olive Garden Company and was awaiting induction into the United States Army.
Survivors include his parents, Herbert and Wanda Deogracias of Kiln, his siblings; Jessica Bernard, Jodie Barrilleaux, Amanda Deogracias and Renee Deogracias all of Kiln; Kimberly Cooley of Bay St. Louis, Kelly Gautreaux of Westwego, La., Kevin and Keith Gautreaux, both of Bay St. Louis and Steven Bernard of Kiln. Grandparents; Joycelyn Paulk of Bay St. Louis, Lucy Gautreaux of Westwego, La.; God parents; Audrey Bouffani of Larose, La. and Arthur Allen Paulk of Bay St. Louis; also by nephews, nieces, couisins and aunts and uncles. Extended family Donlee Gautreaux, Tricia Speaks, Juanita Gautreaux, Tricia Speaks, Juanita Gautreaux and any other extended brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the Kiln Delisle Road Chapel of Gulf Coast Funeral Homes from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
