Jason "Juaning" Poblete David, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated naval engineer, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Born on May 19, 1942, in Naic, Cavite City, Philippines, he lived a life marked by passion, resilience, and unwavering love for his family.

Jason's illustrious career as a Naval Engineer at Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion, and Repair with the United States Navy reflected his exceptional skills and commitment to his profession. His contributions to the Navy were a testament to his dedication and love for his country, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

He pursued his education diligently, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from FEATI University, which laid the foundation for a remarkable career. Jason was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving with honor and distinction. His military service was not just a job but a pivotal part of his identity, shaping who he was as a person.

In his personal life, Jason was a man of varied interests and passions. He found joy in playing tennis and pickleball, activities that not only kept him active but also provided opportunities for cherished memories with friends and family. His love for traveling allowed him and his wife, Fanny, to explore the world together, creating lasting bonds with their children and grandchildren—treasuring every moment spent in their company.

Proud member of the Freemasons and the Shriners.

Jason will be remembered fondly by his family, who were his pride and joy. His beloved wife of 56 years, Fanny David, stood by his side through everything.
