Jarrod Stewart King of Gulfport, MS, left his loving family on March 30, 2022.
He is survived by his parents, Donald Stewart King and Barbara Lampley King, both of Gulfport, MS; his three loving sisters, Jennifer Emerson of Biloxi, Carolyn Hembree of Lyman, and Haley Joan Boomer of Maryland; his sons, Ethan Stewart King, 11, Braydon Stewart King, 8, and Jarrod “LJ” Stewart King Jr., 2; and 9 nieces and nephews.
Jarrod was born on May 4, 1990. He was a dental technician by trade, having started as an apprentice with his dad at the age of 14.
He was an avid sportsman. Fishing, hunting, and sports came natural to him. Jarrod could catch fish in a bathtub of freshly drawn water.
Finally, and most important, Jarrod was a Christian. He often professed his faith. Point of the fact, he spoke of his faith fondly the night before he passed. His family misses him. His absence is unbearable, but I know his Christian brothers and sisters will see him again.
A visitation will be held 4-5pm, Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at First Baptist Church on Popps Ferry Road in Biloxi. A funeral service will be held from 5:00-6:00pm, all being held in the student building, west side of campus.
