Janice B. Maynard

Janice Maynard, age 71, resident of Delisle went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 4, 2012 from Mesothelioma.
Mrs. Maynard worked for Winn Dixie for 25 years and Acosta Sales for 13 years. At St. Stephens Catholic Church, she volunteered with numerous church activities, including running Bingo. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Things she enjoyed included playing bunko, reading, putting jigsaw puzzles together, and watching her grandson, Caleb play sports.
She will be missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Maynard was preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Bouvier; and her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Earl ""Frog"" Price.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Louis Maynard of Delisle; her daughter, Kimberly Babin of Pass Christian; her son, Bernard Barrilleaux of Tickfaw, LA; her stepchildren, Glenda Armond and Gertrude Maynard; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

The visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian. Burial will follow at Old Delisle Cemetery.
