Janice C. (Galle) Kropp, age 79, of Biloxi, passed away on October 19, 2011 in Ocean Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Kropp, Sr; her parents, Lucille and Louis Galle; three brothers, Earl Galle, Florian Galle, and Gordon Galle; a sister, Genieve Galle Hardy; a son, Terry E. Courtney; and a great grandson, Anakin M. Massey.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Ann Courtney and J.J. Kropp, Jr (DeWanda), all of Biloxi; her sister, Sheila Galle Revels (Pastor Al) of Gaffney, SC; eight grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A lifelong resident of east Biloxi, she attended Biloxi schools during her childhood. She attended Pentecostal Church of Biloxi and worked in the seafood industry most of her life. Janice was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by everyone always.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 12:30 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi, with a visitation from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.st.jude.org/ tribute.
