Janet Rose McAllister

Janet Rose McAllister, age 87, passed away on September 28, 2024 in Vancleave, MS. She was born on July 3, 1937, in Kansas to Howard Ray Carriger and Ruby Aerro Dutton Carriger. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Corliss McAllister; children, Judy Lynn Lunquist and Donna Jo McAllister; sisters, Delores Hammer and Helen Becker; and her parents. 

Survivors include her children, Deborah Stoppelman (Scott) of Washington, Carroll Taylor (Lowell) of Vancleave, Ronald McAllister of Washington, Juanita Malone (Kevin) of Washington, Archie McAllister of New Jersey, Rita Trotter (David) of Washington, Darrell McAllister of New Jersey; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce Kokesh and Velma Tuschoff. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. Biloxi, MS (West Jackson County). Graveside services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery, Humphries Rd. Vancleave, MS.
