Janet Graham King, age 71 of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018.
She was born in Stringer, MS to B.J. and Wilma Graham. She graduated from USM where she received her Master of Education. She taught in the Harrison County School System and retired after 37 years, and was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church in Gulfport. Spending time with family and taking care of her grandchildren was what she enjoyed most.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob Johnson and Wilma Buckley Graham.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mitchell King; children, Robin King Clark (Kyle), Jason King (Heather), Jennifer King Clark (Kirk), and John King; brother, Doug Graham (Cheri); sister, Debbie Kelly (Steve); grandchildren, Brandon King, Trevor King, Madison King, Sarah Grace King, Kylee Boney, Jason King, Jr., Gage Clark, Berkley Clark, Sawyer Clark, McIntosh Clark, and Anna Kyle Clark.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 10:00 am at New Hope Baptist Church, Landon Road, Gulfport. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery in Stringer, MS, at 3:00 pm.
