Janet Craig

Janet Jones Craig, age 61, passed away on June 21, 2021, in Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Jones and Vivian Deschamp, and brother Michael Glenn Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 38 + years, Jimmy Craig, four children: Jana Asher Montgomery of Long Beach, Jessica Craig Byrd (Michael) of Florence, Joshua Craig (Annie Keefe) of Long Beach, Jillian Craig Hardy (Matthew) of Gulfport, siblings: James Jones, Jr. (Donna) of Long Beach, Candice Santell (Ross) of Willowick, OH, Steven Dwayne Jones of Long Beach, grandchildren: Aisley Montgomery, Allie Gates, Asher Gates, Levi Byrd, Scarlett Hardy, and grandchild on the way, Molly Mae Craig, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet was a lifelong resident of Long Beach, where she attended school and raised her four (4) children. She worked as a secretary for North Gulfport Junior High and most recently for Orkin Pest Control as an Administrative Assistant. In her free time she loved bunco, quilting, sewing, cake decorating, and other crafts and artistries.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her oncologist, Dr. Allison Wall, as well as her closest friends who were by her side during her battle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11:00 with visitation starting 10:00 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd. Long Beach. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
