Jane Williamson

Jane Morrison Williamson was born in Cinco, West Virginia, a true coal miner’s daughter, on the 24th of October 1946. She passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at her residence in Gulfport, MS at the age of 75.

Jane was always an active person, enjoying fishing, camping, and traveling with her family. More recently, her greatest joy was being competitive on the bowling lanes. She has bowled in all houses on the coast and has made many friends by doing so.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hughey Morrison; her mother, Jewel Lincoln (Burra); as well as her two brothers, Hughey and Douglas. She was also preceded by two of her children, William and Cindy.

Jane is survived by her sister, Allie; her husband of 56 years, Bill; her daughter, Glenda (Jim), as well as two grandchildren, Douglas (Maria) and Brindy; one great-granddaughter, Fionna; her daughter-in-law, Lisa; and her son-in-law, Bruce.

Friends are invited to join the Williamson family for visitation and services on Wednesday, May 11th at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m.  Mrs. Williamson will be laid to rest at Biloxi National Cemetery.
