Jane Ann Garlotte Clark Stevens, age 61 and born on March 22, 1947, of Gulfport, died on April 15, 2008 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa, and her parents, Harvey Garlotte and Helen and Newton Lindsay.
She is survived by her children, Deede Clark of Ponchatoula, LA, Deborah Murphy, Darcel Meza, and Dawn Fenton and her husband, Donnie, all of Little Rock, AR; her sisters, Daisy (Mickie) Felts and her husband, Elmer, Dottie Lindsay and her husband, Alton, both of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Joseph, Johnathon, and Dewayne Clark, Nathan Tew, Alesha Kelley, Kimberly and Dylon Trahan, Donovan and Alicia Meza, Britney Fenton, Michael Garcia, and D.J. Fenton; her great grandchildren, Sarah Trahan, Aliza Staggs, Adriana Fenton, Makayla Clark, and Levin and Ethan Tew; her nieces, Tonya Lindsay, Melissa Arceneaux, Emmy Hernandez, Patty Lindsay; her nephew, Alton (Sonny) Lindsay; her very close cousins, Dot Davis, Hilda Carson, and Hilma Lindsay; and her close sisters in law, Betty Byrd, Lettie Clark, Edith Brumbaugh, and Sandy Clark.
A special thanks to Gulfport Memorial Hospice and the Reverend Doug Reid.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Gulfport and again in Little Rock, AR where her last wishes were for her daughters to spread her cremated remains on Pennacle Mountain, a mountain that she had climbed.
