Jane Ladner

Jane Ladner age 82 of Pass Christian, MS passed away in her home on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.
Jane left this earth to joyfully be reunited in heaven with her parents, Harvey and Winnie Necaise of White Cypress, and two siblings, Frankie L. Necaise of White Cypress and Shirley Fayard of Long Beach, MS.
She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, James Acy Ladner of Pass Christian, MS, and four children she loved dearly: daughter, June (Jerry) Ladner of Gulfport, MS, son, Donnie (Lora) Cuevas of Pass Christian, MS, daughters, Lynn Ladner and Betty (Henry) Dominic of Pass Christian, MS; brother, Wilton Necaise of White Cypress, MS, sister, Borgia Winston of Gulfport, MS. She also leaves cherished memories for her five grandchildren: Jerry J. Ladner of Tamarac, FL, Adam Cuevas, Cassie Cuevas, Trey Garriga and Harley Dominic all of Pass Christian, MS.
Jane was employed at Maybelle Manufacturing in Gulfport, MS for approximately 20 years. Her second career was as a Foster Mother to numerous children that came to love her as their own. She treated all the children that were placed in her home with the same loving care that she gave to her own children.
Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was known as ""Mama Jean"" to many. She loved to dance and sing along with music on her daughter's jukebox or while her brother played the guitar. She was excited as a child when it would snow at her home!
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00am Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Dedeaux, Pass Christian, MS. Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014 6:00pm till 10:00pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd., Pass Christian. Burial will follow the service at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
