Jane King

Jane Anna Martin King, age 93, from Brooklyn, MS, and a longtime resident of Gulfport, MS, passed away on January, 3, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. She was a member of Pass Road Baptist Church for over 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Angeline Deakle Martin; her brothers, George, Elijah, James, Mahlon and Lavon Martin; sister, Grace Martin Catha; her daughter, Bettye King Knight; one granddaughter, Tina Angeline; and one great-granddaughter, Rebecca Jenkins.
Jane is survived by her daughters; Carol Gates of Biloxi MS, Margie (Butch) Rodgers, Mae (Richard) Layton, Donna (Keith) Baker of Gulfport, MS; son, Alton (Sheila) Mosley of Prentiss MS; sisters, Lucille Thompson of Oceans Spring MS, Doris Dubose, Kathy Stover; brothers, Ellis (Katie) Martin, Willis (Joann) Martin of Purvis, MS; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11 AM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the services at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
