Jane Cohen

Jane Ferguson Cohen, 89, of Diamondhead, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017.
Mrs. Cohen was a native of Portland, Maine and moved to Diamondhead in 1994. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Diamondhead. Mrs. Cohen was an artist and she loved her gardens and flowers and her dogs.

Mrs. Cohen was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Cohen; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James R. Ferguson; and her brother, James R. Ferguson, Jr.
Survivors include her dog, Ms. Katie; her dear friends and caregivers, Cindy Necaise and husband Garrett, and their children, Ashley Peterson (Jessie) and Ryan Necaise. She is also survived by her other loving dear friends and church members.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28th from 11:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 5303 Diamondhead Circle, Diamondhead, MS.
Interment with military honors will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church or to the Diamondhead S.P.C.A.
