Jamie Buckley

Jamie A. Buckley, age 56, of Biloxi, died on January 5, 2008 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard E. Buckley; her daughter, Lisa Brown; and her parents, James Arnold and Mary D. Arnold.
Jamie is survived by her children, Mark Brown of Biloxi, MS, Eric Buckley of Hattiesburg, MS, Rebekah Howard and her husband, Robert, III, of Slidell, LA, and Rachel Smith and her husband, Robert, of Biloxi; and three grandchildren, Mia Howard, Sunny Howard, and Giana Smith.
A native of Bay St Louis and a graduate of St Joseph High School, she was a member of Nativity BVM, Biloxi. A registered nurse, she was an integral part of preparing policy and procedure manuals for ICU at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport. She was a Past President of the Biloxi - Ocean Springs Medical Auxiliary and a former member of Dogwood Garden Club. She and her husband, Richard, participated in numerous carnival associations and she served as Queen of Revelers and the Order of Billikins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Nativity BVM, Biloxi, where friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will follow at a later date. The family prefers memorial contributions to be made to any Hancock Bank in Mrs. Buckley's name.
