James "Jimmy" Still, Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of James Edward “Jimmy” Still Sr, 43, of Biloxi on August 28, 2022.  Jimmy was born to Alison Graham Still and Clifford F. Still on November 26, 1978 in Weymouth, MA.  Jimmy was a lifelong and proud resident of Biloxi.
Jimmy will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and a friend to many.  His infectious smile and silly, yet calming demeaner will be missed by all those who knew him.  Jimmy was employed as a lead installer for over 20 years at Lighthouse Marble. He possessed a strong work ethic and took immense pride in each installation in the numerous homes and businesses that he worked on over the years.  He ensured that the same level of attention and detail was given to each installation no matter how small or large the project was.
Jimmy was predeceased by his first wife of 17 years, Cheryl Wright Still, the mother of his two oldest children.  He also grieved the passing of both his mother, Alison Dotilla and his brother, Marshall Still.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Rebecca Joiner Still; his 3 children, James Still, Jr. (22), Elizabeth Still (16) and Hazel Still (2); as well as his 2 step-children, Jacob (14) and Henry (13) Thompson. He is also survived by his father, Clifford Still, his step-mother, Debora Still, his sister, Leslie Still and niece, Hannah Winn, all of Preston, CT.
