James Moore

James William Moore, age 82 of Ocean Springs, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020.

He was a native of Newton, MS and attended 2 years of college before serving in the Air Force for 2 years.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James Pascale Moore and Willie Prudence Blackwell.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beverly June Moore; his children, James Patrick Moore (Amy) and William Scott Moore (Yvette); her siblings, Peggy Ann Cooley and Robert L. Cooley; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

James was an employee of Scott Paper Company for 36 years as a control room operator.  While employed, he received multiple awards for services rendered.

He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

The family would like to thank all of his doctors and the staff at Ocean Springs Hospital for the kind and caring treatment James received while in their care.
