James M. Strong, age 82 and a resident of Gulfport, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mr. Strong was preceded in death by his parents, John and Oma Strong; and his sisters, Bonnie R. Davidson and Louise Johnson.
He is survived by his brothers-in-law, Russell Davidson, and Jesse Johnson, both of Gulfport; his brother, Edwin Earl Brock,of Arizona City, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at 11:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
