James """"J. W."""" Wiley Powe, age 68, of Kiln, MS, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009, in Kiln.
Mr. Powe was preceded in death by his ex-wife and mother of his children, Jannie M. Powe; his mother, Aurilla Hill Powe; and step-father, Ernest Powe.
He is survived by 5 daughters, Martha Powe, Nancy Powe Lebo; Sandra Bobinger Harris; Paula Bobinger Cospelich and husband, Joseph, all of Kiln; and Rachel Bobinger, of Dudley, NC.; 2 sons, William Powe and Melvin Bobinger, both of Kiln; 16 grandchildren, Joseph Barletter and wife, Jessica, Christopher Barletter and wife, April, Melissa Siivola and husband, Ed, Felicia McLamb, Rocky Lewis, Jason Cospelich, Quinn Cospelich, Ryan Cospelich, Kathy Ladner and husband, Kyle, J. D. Harris, Dillon Powe, Amber Lebo, Danielle Lebo, Sabrina Summers, Bubba Summers, and Josh Jochum; 12 great-grandchildren, Macey, Kaelyn, Josie and Wyatt Barletter, Michael Barletter, Elijah, Savannah and Paul Siivola, Ely and Kale Ladner, and TJ and Kaden Hill; 2 foster brothers, Rocky and Tony Herring; also Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Shaw, his employer and very good friends, as well as many other friends and family.
We, his children, would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Shaw for everything they have done, in the past and the present, to help and care for our Dad; it will always be appreciated. Thank you.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road in Pass Christian. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Sean Head officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Powe, Melvin Bobinger, J. D. Harris, Dillon Powe, Jason Cospelich, Quinn Cospelich, and Ryan Cospelich. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Barletter, Josh Jochum, and Joseph Cospelich.
