James E. Moorman, age 77, of Denison, TX died August 24, 2007 in Denison, TX.
Mr. Moorman was preceded in death by his parents, James M. Moorman and Sue M. Moorman, and his brother, Charles M. Moorman.
He is survived by his wife, Nora B. Moorman of Denison, TX, two sons, James P. Moorman and Leslie D. Moorman, both of Tulsa, OK, two daughters, Merry Sue Moorman of Cushing, OK and Loretta Kiser and her husband, Robert E., of Picayune, MS, a brother, William D. Moorman of Palestine, TX and a sister, Margery Sue Tanko and her husband, Joseph, of Perkinston, ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Mr. Moorman was a US Navy veteran, having served in World War II and the Korean War. He received the China Service Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the Navy Occupation Service Medal, Korean Campaign, the Good Conduct Medal, and two Purple Hearts. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and was of the Baptist faith.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road Chapel, Gulfport, where friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time.
