James Johnson

James Michael Johnson age 69, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of Diamondhead, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Bay St. Louis, MS.

He earned his Bachelor’ degree in Petroleum Engineering, specializing in directional drilling which allowed him a multitude of worldwide assignments, including Africa, Asia and several middle east assignments.

He was an avid Saints and LSU football fan, he enjoyed fishing, and he loved to cook and was a very talented culinarian.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Elizabeth Johnson; his parents, Merline and George Johnson; his brothers, Gary Johnson and his wife Tomoko, and  Jeff McGee and his wife Janie; numerous relatives and friends.
