James """"Jim"""" Mansbridge, age 76, of Diamondhead, MS, died Monday, April 16, 2007, in Gulfport from complications due to heart failure.
Mr. Mansbridge was a native of Richmond Hills, Ontario, Canada, and a resident of Diamondhead since 1989. He was retired as a consultant in the transportation industry. He was very active in the Diamondhead community and was a member of Diamondhead Men's Golf Association, and Diamondhead Boaters Association.
Mr. Mansbridge was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Amy Mansbridge; a brother, Doug Mansbridge; and a grandson, Matthew Street.
Survivors include his wife, Genevieve """"Gen"""" Mansbridge, of Diamondhead; children, Larry Mansbridge, of Aurora, Ontario; Janice Street, of Peterboro, Ontario; Scott (Maxine) Mansbridge, of Barrie, Ontario; Joel Mansbridge, of St. Catharines, Ontario; and Patricia (James) Spencer, of Buford, GA; sisters, Carol (Bruce) Munro, of Roanoke, VA; and Betty Mros, of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren: Aaron and Ryan Mansbridge, of Aurora, Ontario; Christopher (Katy) Street, Thomas Street, of Peterboro, Ontario; Michael Mansbridge and Jenna Mansbridge, of Barrie, Ontario; Samantha and Brittany Mansbridge, of St. Catharines, Ontario; Carter Spencer, Charles Spencer, of Buford, GA; and great-grandchildren, Aiden Street and Anderson Street; and an uncle, Ted Mansbridge, of Richmond Hill, Ontario; a cousin, John (Donna) Randle, of Niagara Falls, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007, at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Kiln-DeLisle Road Chapel, Pass Christian. A private memorial service will be held later.
Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 638, Gulfport, MS 39502, or to one's favorite charity.
