James W. "Jimmy" Lassabe, age 79, of Long Beach, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
Mr. Lassabe was born in Gulfport to Woodrow and Myrtis Beech Lassabe Hammons. He was retired from the City of Long Beach.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Lassabe; his father, Woodrow Lassabe; and his mother and stepfather, Myrtis Beech Hammons and Robert F. Hammons, Sr.; brothers, Robert F. Hammons, Jr. and Richard Lassabe.
He is survived by his brothers, Jackie Hammons, Walter Ray Hammons, and Benny Lassabe.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Conn Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
