J. Larry Kendrick, age 89, of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. He was born in Gulfport to Ollie and Clarence Kendrick and graduated from Gulfport High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving for four years. Larry retired from the Veterans Administration as a Field Investigator after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Kendrick; his son, J. Larry Kendrick, Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Kendrick; three grandsons, Zach, Adam and Nathan; and his sister, Katherine Wooten.
Per his request, there will be a private graveside service for the family at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport. Riemann Family Funeral Home, Biloxi, is serving the family. The online guestbook may be signed, and memories shared at www.riemannfamily.com
