James Clarence (J.C.) King, age 82 and a resident of Biloxi, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2010, at the Biloxi VA Hospital.
Mr. King served in the United States Navy. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Elks Lodge #606 in Biloxi. J.C. was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Mr. King is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Vera Lamey King and two sisters, Lois Wescovich and Rosemary Hanson.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel King; his daughters, Janie Bailey & Wanda Debije; his sisters, Shirley Wood and Glenda Seymour; his brother, Richard King; a grandson and many nephews and nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery, with military honors to be rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
