James aÌâÅJimaÌâ Albert Johnson departed this life and began his new life in GodaÌââ¢s loving arms on December 16, 2009, in Gulfport, MS.
Jim was the beloved husband and sweetheart of Emma D. Johnson; father of James Albert, Jr. of Hammond, LA; Lee Allen of Belle Chasse, LA, David Michael of Baton Rouge, LA, Doris Alimia of Harvey LA and Dawn Murray of New Orleans, LA.
He is survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Eth and Martha Johnson of Belle Chasse, LA and his sister Anna Bieber.
Jim was born in Casa, Arkansas, resided in Belle Chasse, LA in his youth and was a resident of Kiln, MS for the past 19 years. He retired from Chevron Chemical Oak Point Plant in Belle Chasse after 35 years of service. He was a Commissioned Deputy of the Hancock County Sheriff Department for the past 7 years. Jim was s Past-Master of the Indivisible Friends Masonic Lodge #404 in Gretna, LA, as well as a former member of the Crusin Cajun Motor Home Club for 20 years and former member of the Misfit Street Cruisers. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
