Mr. James """"Ray"""" Jerkins, age 69 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in Long Beach.
Ray was a lover of life. A carpenter by trade, his passions included riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, boating, and collecting antiques.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Roselyn Hopkins; parents, Frank and Ilar Mae Jerkins; and a brother. He is survived by his children, Tim Hopkins, Susan Quillen, and Sherry Dwyer, all of Long Beach, and Judy Hatfield of Georgia; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
