James "Jim" Orris Hulett, age 72, resident of Biloxi and formerly of Southgate, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
Jim was born in Wyandotte, MI to Orris and Barbara Ann Hunter Hulett. He served in the United States Navy before returning to Michigan to run the family landscaping and snow removal business. He coached his kids' sports teams, both hockey and baseball. He enjoyed flying and boating. Jim served as Commodore in 1998 of Elba Mar Boat Club in Michigan. After retirement, he and Carol moved to Biloxi to be closer to his grandchildren, whom he loved and adored.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mark Hulett.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Carol Ann Hulett; two children, Shannon Michele Hulett of Biloxi, and Dean Gifford Hulett (Caty); brother, Ronald Ray Hulett (Carol); and grandchildren, Justin Dean Hulett, Natalie Catherine Hulett, and Houston Mahoney Hulett. Sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gail & Tony Dean and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on January 25, 2018, at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors rendered by The United States Navy.
