James Joseph “Jim” Hoselle, age 91, of Long Beach, passed away on December 15, 2023.
James was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he graduated from Francis T. Nicholls High School. He went on to serve our Country as a member of The United States Air Force. He ranked as Staff Sergeant (SSGT) and served in the Korean War. He later worked for Unisys Corporation, and retired from there to become self-employed when he started Integrity Services.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering around the house. He was an avid Saints fan. He was a member of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, and also The Knights of Columbus Council #4898, and BPOE Gulfport, MS Lodge #978.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald J. and Bernice W. Hoselle; his brothers, Jasques (Glenda) Hoselle, and Richard “Buddy” Hoselle; and a sister, Patricia “Patsy” Hoselle.
James is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise M. Hoselle; their daughters, Susan Hoselle, Anne (Gary) Fulton, Karen Hoselle, and Jane (Howard) Langham; his grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Fulton, Gabrielle Fulton, Maddox Langham, Jonathan Langham, and Allison Redding; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank all of the staff at Dunbar Village and Notre Dame Hospice for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm in the church. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
