James Frank Hoffman, age 81 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mr. Hoffman was a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for the past 8 years, and prior to moving to the coast, he enjoyed living and traveling in his RV. He was active in numerous organizations including, the VFW, DAV, American Legion, Shriners, and he was a Mason.
Mr. Hoffman is preceded in death by his parents, George Paul & Iva Brown Hoffman; his wife, Donna Elaine Hoffman, and his brothers, George P. Hoffman, Jr., Robert L. Hoffman, and Chesley H. Hoffman.
He is survived by his children, Arthur Hoffman of Joppa, MO, Margaret Ann Hoffman of Germany; Arthur Brannan of Gainesville, MO, Lester Brannan of Paduach, KY, and John Brannan of Gillette, WY; his sisters, Elizabeth H. Bryan of Virginia Beach, VA, and Nellie R. Beam of Sunbury, NC and 9 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 2:30PM at Biloxi National Cemetery, with full military honors rendered by the United States Army.
