James B. Herrington

James B. Herrington, 81, a native of Laurel, MS and a resident of Gulfport since 1965 passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Gulfport, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Oscar Herrington and Kitty Alma Broadhead Herrington; his sister, Della Mae Herrington; and his brother, William Monroe Herrington.
Mr. Herrington is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elsie Walters Herrington; his daughter, Rachel (Steve) Craig; his three grandchildren, Hannah Grace Craig, John Steven Craig, and Joshua Chase Craig; and many other loving family members.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, worked as a tire specialist most recently at WalMart in Gulfport and was a member of the Grace Chapel Church.
A visitation will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
