~~James Franklin "Jimmie" Harris, Jr., age 83, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
Mr. Harris was born in Biloxi to James F. Harris and Hattie Smith Harris. He served in the United States Navy and retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding from the Accuracy Control Department. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Wayne Harris.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Alma "Amy" Caldwell Harris; his children, Lori Harris Faget (Crispin) of Seattle, WA, and James Franklin Harris, III, of Ocean Springs; and one sister, Betty Jean Culpepper of Little Rock, AR.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave., from 11 am until service time at 12 o'clock Noon.
