James Farner

James Edward “Bill” Farner, age 83, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Bill was born in Turtletown, Tennessee. He worked for Coast Material Plant as the supervisor for 25 years.  He loved fishing and gardening.

Mr. Farner was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Farner; his mother, Ruth Farner; his father, Christopher Farner; and his sisters, Barbara Cole, and Faye Magfield.

Bill is survived by his children, Leonard “Mac” Malcom Farner, Charles “Frank” Franklin Farner, Patricia Denise Wright, Christopher “Chris” Farner, and Anna Farner McCaughan; his 17 grandchildren and his 14 great grandchildren.

Dad has gone to reunite with his wife of 55 years.  He will be truly missed but it is comforting to know they are back together.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS, with the visitation starting for family and friends starting at 1:00 P.M.
