James Doyle

TSGT James P. Doyle, USAF, Ret., age 79, of Gulfport, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Gulfport.
He was a native of Youngstown, OH and had been a resident of the coast since 1966. He retired as a Tech Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after serving in Korea and Vietnam and later retired from Hancock Bank as a courier. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Orange Grove.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joann Dempsey Doyle, his second wife, Ann Huston Doyle, a son-in-law, Steve Holifield, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his children, Daniel Doyle, Steven (Cathy) Doyle, David Doyle, Ruth (Jagjit) Heer, Debra Holifield, Valerie (Craig) Smith, Paula (Gary) Manor, Bruce Heckman, and Paul Fellows, his sister, Libby (Harry) Carpenter, 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held 10 am Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
