Mr. James Warden Culpepper, age 78, of Pass Christian, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018, in Slidell, Louisiana.
Mr. Culpepper was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilma and Della Inez Culpepper; and his sister Judy Culpepper.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carolyn Culpepper; children, Denise Landry (Keith), Sandra Duncan (Rod), Colleen Trapani (Jay), James Culpepper (Paula), Erin Culpepper Pamplin (Billy) and Maureen Gilbert-Brown (Shannon); sisters, Jeanette, Carolyn, Evelyn and Katy; grandchildren Calin Landry, Dustin Landry, Ross Wescovich, Ashley Wescovich, Gary Allen Commander, Tayler Trapani, Tyler Trapani, Christopher Trapani, Evan Trapani, Erin Trapani Waldrum, Corey Culpepper, Caitlin Gilbert Gagliano, P.J. Triche, Kalina Dee Pamplin and Cassity Pamplin; and twelve great grandchildren.
Mr. Culpepper was born in Houston, Tx and graduated from LSU. He went on to serve our country in the United States Army and Navy. From there Mr. Culpepper was a sales representative which he retired from after 50 plus years.
He was a 4 th Degree Knights of Columbus and a member of the Long Beach Masonic Lodge #500.
Mr. Culpepper loved golf and watching LSU Football. He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church, 22342 Evangeline Rd., Pass Christian.
