James Chappell, age 58, of Gulfport, passed away January 27, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mr. Chappell worked at Anchor Glass for 10 years, and was currently employed with Harrison County Sand Beach for the past 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Sarah Chappell; and his brother, Robert Chappell.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Margaret A. Huffman Chappell; his best friend and companion, Cobie; four daughters, Tina Leonard (Joseph) of Gulfport, Candy Taylor (Rusty), Brandy Hale, and Jamie Horton (Richard) all of New Albany, MS; grandchildren, David Leonard, of Gulfport, Cassie Thomas, Cody Edwards, Jessica Hale, Katie Hale, James Morphis, Brianna Horton, and A.J. Horton all of New Albany, MS; his sister, Jan Stockmeyer (John) of Gulfport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME , 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
