James H. Carpenter, age 75, of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012, in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Geraldine Hathaway, and a sister, Mary Jo Carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Carpenter, his childen, Donald James Carpenter, Cristin Gale Carpenter Rathman, and Cathy Renee Carpenter Hare, 4 siblings, John Andrew Carpenter, Frances Carpenter Tackett, Louise Carpenter Braddock, and Martha Carpenter Reynolds, grandchildren, and other relatives.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 9 - 9:45 am at Bible Baptist Church, Dedeaux Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 9:45 am in the church sanctuary.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
